Bantwal, Dec 12: Three people were arrested in connection to the attack on Ira gram panchayat president Razak Kukkaje, on Wednesday, December 11.
The three arrested have been identified as Basheer (27), Kabeer (23) and Tanvir (23), residents of Kukkaje. They were arrested by Bantwal police on Wednesday.
It may be recalled, a gang had attacked Razak with deadly weapons at Manchi here on November 30, when he had come to Shafi clinic in Manchikatte.
The gang who saw people around, had fled from the spot. Razak had suffered injuries and was admitted to hospital.
