Beltangady: Monti Fest at Most Holy Redeemer's Church, Beltangady

Beltangady, Sep 8: A huge, tastefully decorated tableau in the shape of a peacock and a decorated vehicle carrying the statue of Mother Mary were the highlights of the Monti Fest procession that passed through the roads in the town today morning.



A large number of people took part in the celebration. Fr James D'Souza was the main celebrant at the Eucharist, after which blessed corn and sugarcanes were handed over to the families.
