Traffic fines payable in instalments: Ajman Police

Ajman, Dec 13: This move was agreed upon by Major-General Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ajman Police, and Salah Mohammed Amin, CEO Emirates Islamic Bank (EIB).
 
"The move is meant to bring happiness to the public and help them pay fines in easy instalment," said Maj-Gen Nuaimi.
 
He further clarified stating that the motorists will be able to pay the fine of the vehicles registered in Ajman in 12 instalments.
 
 
"However, this instalment plan is only applicable to the fines worth Dh1,000 and more," Nuaimi added.
 
The plan is also exclusive to customers of the Emirates Islamic Bank, he announced.
 
"No interest rate shall be collected against the instalment plan which is available on the customers holding the EIB credit cards," Nuaimi said.
