City police commissioner restrains entry of Siddaramaiah into Mangaluru

Mangaluru, Dec 21: City police commissioner, Dr P S Harsha, has served notice on former chief minister, Siddaramaiah, restraining the latter from entering the city limits. This restraint order will be in force till midnight on Sunday December 22.

The notice bars Siddaramaiah from flying into the city from Bengaluru, Hubballi, Mysuru, and Goa airports. His entry through road, rail, and air has been barred.

The notice also mentions that no one can facilitate his travel into the city.

Curfew is in place within the city commissionerate till December 22 midnight in view of protests held on Thursday turning violent, to restore law and order.

The commissioner said that this notice has been issued as per the instructions of police inspector, international airport, Bengaluru.

    Why should any politician come at this time of tension.. to create more tensions??/ Congress is not trying its best to create a negative scene against BJP so that they can win next elections... i think if they would use their brains in developing the country instead of trying to make a issue out of small things

    Good job by the police, I thought Mr, Siddaramiah was giving up politics after being kicked out of his constituency and JDS subsequently. He also announced his retirement due to health reasons. Why has he woken up suddenly ?
