Dubai: UAE offers passengers two types of transit visas, one of which is free

UAE, Dec 21: The United Arab Emirates offers passengers travelling through its airports two types of transit visas enabling them to enjoy the country’s major tourist attractions.

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship of the UAE has stated that one transit visa is valid for 48 hours and is free of charge and the other transit visa is valid for 96 hours and costs DH 50.

Only UAE based airlines sponsor both these visas which need to be processed and approved before entering the emirate. The authority has stressed that these visas cannot be extended.
