Udupi: Pejawar Swamiji's health condition stable, on ventilator

Udupi, Dec 23: The health condition of Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math here, who is being treated at KMC Hospital, Manipal, is stable now. The doctors said that he continues to be on ventilator.

The oxygen and blood pressure levels have normalized. Artificial respiration continues. A release from the hospital said that even though the Swamiji's condition is serious, his condition is stable. On Sunday, two additional specialist doctors from KMC Hospital Bengaluru arrived here to assist the team of doctors monitoring his health condition. The hospital has erected placards announcing that no one is allowed to meet the Swamiji, who is in the intensive care unit of the hospital. Therefore, the rush of devotees coming to hospital to meet the Swamiji had come down significantly.

Reports about pujas and other forms of prayers being offered at various places, seeking the blessings of the Almighty for the early recovery of the Swamiji are pouring in. Several dignitaries including Sri Vidyasagarateertha Swaiji of Krishnapur Math, junior Swamiji of Palimaru Math, Sri Vidyarajeshwarateertha Swamiji, Sri Yogananda Saraswati Swamiji of Kondevoor, Sri Subhdhendrateertha Swamiji of Mantralaya, entrepreneur Nira Radia and others visited to enquire about the health condition of the Swamiji.

Sarsanghchalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Mohan Bhagawath, called the people close to the Swamiji over phone to know about the Swamiji's health condition. On Monday, December 23, disciple of the Swamiji, Uma Bharti, is expected to visit the Swamiji at the hospital.
