Mangaluru: 163 km of roads in DK will be developed - MP Nalin Kumar Kateel

Mangaluru, Dec 27: "A total of 163 km long roads in various parts of Dakshina Kannada district will be developed in the third phase of the Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Scheme of Rural Development and Panchayat Raj department. These works are approved," said MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.

MP Nalin also informed that Dakshina Kannada Lok Sabha constituency is in the number one spot in implementing the Pradhanmantri Gram Sadak Scheme this year.

The roads that will be developed under the third phase of the scheme are as follows:

  • 6.70 km stretch of road that connects Kanyana of Bantwal taluk to Nekkarekadu scheduled caste colony
  • 10.73 km stretch of road that connects Goltamajalu and Manchikatte
  • 6.46 km stretch of road between Talithabettu of Bantwal taluk to Cheloor
  • 10.17 km stretch of road between Bolpade and Moole
  • 12.51 km stretch of road between Beejadaddi and Parpikallu of Beltangady taluk
  • 5.88 km stretch of road between Prappu and Arduprala of Beltangady taluk
  • 8.81 km stretch of road from Laila to Kotikatte of Beltangady taluk
  • 25.01 km stretch of road from Ujire to Kuppetti of Beltangady taluk
  • 5.04 km stretch of road from Kayarpundu to Kesaragadde of Mangaluru taluk
  • 5.66 km stretch of road from Munchigudde to Niddodi
  • 6.15 km stretch of road between Eshwaramangala and Sulliapadavu of Puttur taluk
  • 7.56 km stretch of road between Bareppadi Pallathuru Kunya (Peruvaje)
  • 8.68 km stretch of road between Eshwaramangala Kattakkana (Maindinadka) Doddakana and Kukkupuni
  • 12.31 km stretch of road between Kakkaru to Karnapadi via Aanadka of Puttur taluk
  • 7.22 km stretch of road from Peral to Narkodu via Ajjavara of Sullia taluk
  • 6.90 km stretch of road from Aletti to Elikkala via Kotekallu of Sullia taluk
  • 8.23 km stretch of road from Kutelu Aletti to Koornadka via Baddadka of Sullia taluk
  • 9.70 km stretch of road from Bhogayana Kere to Beedigudde Addabailu via Ennemajalu of Sullia taluk

    How many more toll booths are planned for these, we have 4 of them in less than 100Km of NH stretch in Mangalore...which is highest anywhere. As an MP of this constuency, why is he not bothered on this ?

    Mr nalin first complete the pumpwell flyover.. thn put hand to other road works .. or else ther will be no roads only in mangalore.. u took 10 years to make a flyover and u make take 50 years to do the roads... Uneducated MP

    Pls look in to the matter of road of NH Moodbidri - kulshekhara..
    Virtually impossible to ply...how many years it did not see tar? From Mudubidre to Mangalore it was 45 minutes now takes 1.3 hrs .Full of potholes and verually unable to overtake.if NH and nalin Kumar unable to to do needful just transfer to SH.

    Forget pump well flyover... Look @ pathetic condition of NH road BC road Charmadi... What tangible work Mr nalin did for DK...we are asking district HQ road to state HQ road motorable..shiradi NH road kept in deep Frazer long back.

    Nalin Kumar comes to press and telling us this road that road but reality it confines in papers only...
