I am not for or against such statues. It is a matter of faith , so I don't want to hurt anyone. I think it is better if politicians do some thing good for the people. I don't say no to statues but there are umpteen number of problems which we common people face. Can't all politicians work for the upliftment of us poor people?

Wud hav been appreciated if done with good intent & not for promotion. An ex-CM of Andhra converted to be in good books & get top post & now this. Could have built a Medical College & Hospital in 10 acres exclusively for the community & named after. Dread the day our medical services become like foriegn countries. We are still priviledged to walk in anywhere & get treated anytime.

All of us should worship the Lord Jesus Christ as our God who took the form of a human being. We must have a close relationship with Him to reach Moksha (Heaven). Because He is the only God who is above all gods (sudar7, page270). He forgave those who crucified Him. He bore all our sins. He says “Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, I will give you rest”. He gives peace to all (sudar2, page372). If a person accepts Jesus Christ as his Lord, his soul is changed. He will become like Jesus Christ, and his life becomes holy (sudar 4, page600)

People beware, In this hyper and religiously charged world, Politicians engage people's mind in CONFLICTS and keep their mind and body busy in unnecessary activities.
Whereas, most of the politicians remain active and busy in their own prosperity and power wielding game. Be mindful of their game and don't overcharge the MIND'S BATTERY WITH RELIGIOCITY

Personally i feel even Lord Jesus Christ wouldn't be pleased about the statue. He was humble and he lived a humble life and died the most horrif death reserved for only the most biggest criminals. Our Lord Jesus is the one who taught us to be humble. But you two and scores of other miserable politicians, know only to ridicule people based on their caste creed and relegion. You only know to talk dirty, because your minds are dirty. And only dirty minds can talk dirty.

Congress leader DKS, has needlessly, created a new communal frontier, dragging in the name of Jesus Christ in today's highly polarized society !!!!!!! Christians, never demanded, that they wanted to put up a statue of Jesus Christ !!!! Then who are the scoundrels, who created an unnecessary chaotic controversy ???? Why drag in the Christian community, as a sacrifice, in this volatile communal environment !!!!!!!

If NRC is implemented, then more than 70% of BJP M.P's and M.L.A's will not have any certificates or documents to prove because their master Mr.Modi and Omit Shah toobhave no certificates to prove. A 2nd standard child will say Jesus Christ was not born at Vatican but our hatred mongering BJP M.P's and M.L.A's knows very well that Nathuram Godse who killed our father of the nation Mahatma Gandhiji was a patriot rather he was a traitor! This is gober cow mind of BJP and RSS is their University to get degrees! India is become a laughing stock for the world by observing Modi government and his minnister's statements!

D K Shivakumar laying foundation stone laid foundation stone for tallest statue of Jesus Christ is altogether a different matter. It's ones matter of faith or liking.
Some Christians use statues for educational purpose and to visualize the history.
Some forbid using of any form of statues in the matter of worship.
There are diverse views about statues. However all denominations use film or print media where there are images.
Since the faith is practiced in most parts of the world, there bound to be diverse views!
However the language used to criticise DKS by Anant Kumar Hegde and Eshwarappa, is of poor taste, controversial and has exposed their mindset.

Jesus was born in Italy? Eshwarappa, better you get your history right, please. Otherwise, you will be like PM who got Karnataka's facts wrong in his 2018 Election Capaign speech.

To those who have forgotten, but still mind facts, here it is, I quote about Modiji's inaccurate statement- How did the Congress governments treat field marshall Kodandera M Cariappa and general Kodandera Subayya Thimayya? History is proof of that. In 1948, after defeating Pakistan, general Thimayya was insulted by PM (Jawaharal) Nehru and defence minister Krishna Menon.

The correct version should have been General Thimayya was the army chief from 1957 to 1961 and VK Krishna Menon was India's defence minister from 1957 to 1962.

Rama was not born in Srilanka, nor was Jesus born in Vatican. Eshwaranna, please don't blame Sonia for that.
