May Dr. Vernon D'Silva's soul rest in peace.

It is high time rash driving by bus drivers, especially in our twin districts, is strictly controlled. Until then, these unfortunate mishaps involving loss of innocent lives, will continue to take place.

Speed governors should be installed on these buses . Drivers and conductors are rash and arrogant and don’t care for either the pedestrians or vehicle users . What is sad is that the police are turning a blind eye to this negligent and rash driving and imposing fines on road users for other offences. Someone should do an audit of the no of accidents, people maimed it killed by these buses !!!

85% of accidents are bus related. most of them are reckless driving due same route driving every single day... where the drivers are familiar with the route then speeding up beyond the limit…
Bus owner needed to be held responsible..
RIP to victim and his Fly.

Govt must do something to control buses, they pay "mamuli' and break traffic rules without caring about co users of road. India lost a good man, not only that, India also lost one of its tax payer.

Very Sad. May Dr Vernon D'Silva rest in peace. Mangalore private buses continue to be killer vehicles refusing to be concerned about the lives of other commuters. The impact is shocking.

We should 'EDUCATE' our drivers properly before giving driver's license to them...We should give DL to DRIVE not to KILL....

If 'International Level' driving test is given to Indian Drivers...perhaps 99.99% drivers may fail that test...

Same people who go outside India...drive properly like other's there....What happens to them in India ....is a surprise to me....they ( Drivers) behave like they are 'posses by Devil'....

    ...Tak...Takk...

    RIP car driver.
But I think the bus driver was in New year night mood. The bus owner, and bus owners association, and Traffic department is responsible for killing and making other passengers hurt.

Traffic department must install speed breaker in every 200 meters in highway as well as in city limits also. Then only we can control the bus first as well as those who drive recklessly. Otherwise it is difficult to control these killer drivers.
