Daijiworld Media Network – Udupi (EP)

Udupi, Dec 28: “As the health of Pejawar Math Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji is deteriorating and there are no indications of recovery, he will be shifted to math on Sunday, December 29 according to his wish,” said Pejawar Math’s junior seer and Pejawar Swamiji’s successor Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, December 28, he said that facility of ventilator and the doctor will be arranged in the math. “Some of the procedures before his discharge are pending in the hospital. Further action will be taken after completing them,” he said.

Sri Vishwaprasanna Theertha Swamiji requested devotees not to come to visit Pejawar Swamiji in the math for the time being. “Pray for his health from wherever you are,” he said.

“I am confident of complete cooperation from the union and state governments in this connection,” he added.

Earlier in the day, chief minister B S Yediyurappa, Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje, MLA Raghupati Bhat and former union minister Uma Bharati visited the hospital to enquire about Pejawar Swamiji's well-being.

I had the oppurtunity to meet him at udupi krishna matta ..last year..Infact I was blessed by him.
I consider myself to be lucky to taking birth in place like udupi/mangalore .

I would like to make a mention here ..great hindu seers carry a sparkle in their eyes ..which is the result of being in direct contact with the lord.

I hate to compare ..but I could not find the same sparkle and positive vibe amongst other religions spiritual leaders whom I have come across ..

Let there be peace ..We are all children of the same one god ..

You might have failed to see the same spark in others, so your failure shouldn't be the final word about others !!!

    Sorry, if you are hurt.

Do not show your kori katta mentality in this forum.

Your statement of sparkle etc shows how narrow minded you are.

Sparkle was there is the eyes of Asaram Bapu and Nityananda swami also. That is why they captivated scores people and did what they are famous for.

Great Lord Rajaneesh captivated the whole world with his eyes and then the nanga nach in Pune Ashram.

But I have great respect for Pejawar Swamiji. However, do not like people like you taking advantage of his goodness and effort to maintain communal harmony with cheap thoughts about other religions.

It is also well known that the upper caste Hindus treat their lower caste brethren like sh..t

    Kamale Kannige Ellavu Haladi.
