Dubai, Dec 31: An advisory is issued by Emirates airlines for passengers flying out of UAE after New Year celebrations.

The airline expects busy period with inbound travel of New Year celebrations to take advantage of Dubai Shopping Festival.

While reminding to arrive at the airport at least three to four hours before departure of their flight, the passengers are urged to check-in online and use baggage drop facilities. It is necessary for those who are checking online to check in their luggage not later than ninety minutes before the departure. Mobile pass holders and those with carry on bags however are allowed to proceed directly to passenger control and security clearance.

Those who are eligible for visa facility on arrival and UAE residents are permitted to use smart gates avoiding lines at departure and arrival. As gates close twenty minutes before departure, those who report late may not be able to travel.
