Bengaluru, Jan 1: “Raj Thackeray had given a statement over border dispute between Karnataka and Maharashtra. Chief minister Uddav Thackeray recollected it. They are unnecessarily creating confusion and trouble,” said Karnataka deputy chief minister (DCM) Laxman Savadi expressing anguish.

Karnataka-Maharashtra border dispute is the topic of heated discussions these days. DCM Laxman Savadi in his reaction to them said that chief minister B S Yediyurappa will appoint a member responsible for border security within a few days.

Speaking to news reporters in Bengaluru, he said that Maharashtra chief minister has made an unnecessary statement.

“Maharashtra CM and Shiva Sena activists have made provocative statements. We condemn it. Karnataka state government will stand firm for people of Karnataka on the border. If Kannadigas are troubled, we will not tolerate,” he said, issuing a stern warning to CM Uddav Thackeray.
