Mangaluru: Anagha Refinery distributes gold coins to winners of its Sun Premium contest

Mangaluru, Jan 2: As many as 37 winners from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts were given gold coins in a grand prize distribution ceremony held at Hotel Deepa Comforts on Thursday, January 2 by the Anagha Refinery, manufacturer of Sun Premium sunflower oil.

On the eve of Navarathri and Deepavali, Anaga Refinery had conducted a contest for its customers to buy Sun Premium sunflower oil and win gold coin. 100 winners were selected by the company, out of which 37 are from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

Speaking on the occasion, director of Anagha refinery, Venkat Phani said, "The growth of our company started because of the quality in Sun Premium oil. We had started this contest in the month of September so that the customers can buy the oil in any retail shop and SMS the given code in the packet to a number and get a chance to win the gold coin. We have scrutinized every message and maintained transparency and declared the winners.”

Sun Premium sunflower oil is the most familiar brand of oil used in every house for cooking and has the highest sale in the state and at the same time high demand.

Administrative director Sambashiva Rao was also present.
