Habitual communal offenders involved in Mangaluru violence

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Jan 3: It is learnt that the investigating team of Criminal Investigation Department (CID) that is looking into the recent incidents of violence in the city that culminated in the loss of two lives due to police firing, has accessed clinching evidence about the fact that the disturbances here were fuelled by a communal organization that had abetted violent incidents in Bihar and Odisha opposing Citizenship Amendment Act. The evidence it has collected is said to be quite substantial.

The police have accessed evidences to conclusively prove that the incidents of violence in the city on December 19 despite the presence of prohibitory orders were pre-planned. They revealed that a person from near the city who is associated with a communal organization, extended tacit support to the violence here from his Bihar hideout. The police have found provocative messages he conveyed to the protestors through websites a day before the protests. The police also have enough proof to safely conclude that the same organization and individuals were involved in the violence in Bihar and Odisha on the same issue.

Cybercrime police and the city police have already registered case against this leader residing at Farangipet some distance away from the city. The policemen said that as soon as the person concerned came to know that a case has been registered against him, has gone underground.

A police team of CID headed by superintendent of police Rahul had reached the city a week back and went back after putting together preliminary details and conducting spot checks. It also gathered information on firing incident. It is still to begin detailed investigation into the incident.

The cybercrime police here have been striving to investigate people who posted provocative messages in social websites from foreign countries. The police, who launched a probe, found that over 50 persons who spread hate messages, voice messages etc are now in foreign countries. The police, who want to act tough against them, are preparing to approach the court with a request to cancel the passports of these persons. The police have also consulted legal experts about the processes of getting their visas cancelled, it is gathered.

As i have pointed out earlier, CID is a government agency and will work in a manner that suits the present BJP government.

The government wants of ban PFI and that is what the CID is also doing.

Simple to understand. Any kind of rightwing provocation is not considered as harmful to the society.
