Bengaluru: Public exams for seventh standard - Guidelines to be chalked out on Jan 4

Bengaluru, Jan 4: It is confirmed that from the present academic year itself, public exams will be held for the students studying in seventh standard. The guidelines with respect to these will be finalized on Saturday, Janauary 4 according to the information provided by primary and secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar.

Suresh Kumar was speaking at the programme organized at Mount Carmel College of the city on Friday. He further said that this year the exams will be conducted on trial basis and the method of examination will be finalized in the meeting on Saturday.

"There is no provision of marking the student as failed. So the examinations will be held at state level. Only rules will be conveyed. There is no need for students to panic. They can face the exams without any fear," said Suresh Kumar.
