Kasargod, Jan 6: In a reportedly ghastly accident, a couple lost their lives on the spot at Karadka near Mulleria here on Monday, January 6.
The deceased have been identified as Govind Raj (53) and his wife Uma (42).
They were basically from Tamil Nadu and were residents of Karadka here. Govind Raj was running a salon at Mulleria.
The accident which took place at 11 am. The couple, which was on their motorcycle, were hit by a speeding SUV head-on, dragging the duo up to a few metres on the road.
The couple died on the spot. Police arrived at the location and shifted the bodies to Kasargod general hospital for post-mortem.
