Bantwal: Girl students teach fitting lesson to habitual eve-teaser

Bantwal, Jan 8: The girl students of a college here caught hold of a person who ogled at and teased them, besides attempting to sexually harass them. They also gave him a dressing down. The incident happened in the town recently.

The girl students of SVS College here saw that Rohith, who apparently felt that girls were objects which give him satisfaction, got to know what they thought of him. Rohith, who executed work on contract basis in the college, reportedly had the blessings of the management. Emboldened by this credential, he used to misbehave with the girl students. He used to come into the classes and pull girl students by their hands. The girl students said that they had complained about this lewd behaviour of Rohith in the past to the principal but nothing was done to cut him to size.

Frustrated by Rohith's antics, the girl students caught hold of him and censured him in the presence of the college principal. Some locals who recorded the scene of the girls taming the eve-teaser on video, have uploaded this video in social websites. This video has become viral.

The girl students also have complained against the accused to the local police station. The town police here have arrested Rohith and registered a case of sexual harassment against him.
