If this guy could hold of American military bullets, they should treat him like VIP. Maybe he could smuggle some F-16 for half the price for GOI.

If the live bullets were there at the starting point (USA) then how come he did not fall under the scrutiny of those authorities. Hand bags are supposed to be checked thoroughly before boarding the flight. His explanation (oversight) cannot be taken as a final conclusion.

If the person can (1) produce his ID of his work place which is supposed to be military based (2) that there is no weapon in he baggage or in person - I am sure the police need not worry.

No person takes banned items on a journey, especially when he travels with his mother. Without a weapon he can't do anything with the bullets (unless is is a career but just two bullets is worthless the trouble).

No normal person could dare to smuggle something while travelling with mother. I could have considered this as an exception, had they revealed the name of the person!
