China Criticises Manmohan's Visit to Arunachal

Beijing, Oct 13 (IANS) China Tuesday expressed "strong dissatisfaction" over Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's visit to Arunachal Pradesh, a state whose ownership they dispute.

"China is strongly dissatisfied with the visit to the disputed region by the Indian leader disregarding China's serious concerns," Xinhua quoted Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ma Zhaoxu as saying. The official did not refer to Manmohan Singh by name.

Manmohan Singh visited Arunachal Pradesh Oct 3 to campaign for assembly elections taking place Tuesday.

Ma said China and India had never officially settled the demarcation of their border, and China's stance on the eastern section of the China-India border was consistent and clear-cut.

"We demand the Indian side address China's serious concerns and not trigger disturbance in the disputed region so as to facilitate the healthy development of China-India relations," Ma said.

" Himalayan blunder" by brigadier JP Dalvi speaks volumes of truth. But still we have supporters who continue to glorify the people behind the blunder. That is the height of tragedy.

The time has come for all Indian citizens to boycott Chinese products even though they are cheap. Let us all go in for our own Indian products. To be united and strong is the need of the hour espescially when our two sworn neighbours and enemies are showing their agressive intentions.

Who the  chineese think they are to protest when our Prime minister visits a part of our country. They should be aware we are not push overs like Tibetians whose country they took by force. It is not 1962 but 2009.

If we dont take stern steps against china, a day will come when the whole of northeast will be gobbled up by china and we will be mere spectators. Never trust china. We really are (un)lucky to have neighbours like pakis, china, nepal, bangladesh..problems galore.
