Dubai: Attempts to smuggle 73 kg cystal meth prevented by customs

Dubai, Feb 1: The customs center at Jebel Ali has prevented attempts to smuggle 73 kg of crystal meth from a nearby country. The drug was concealed in the spare parts of vehicles.

The operation was conducted in the cooperation of the department of customs intelligence equipped with smart scanning systems. The system has the ability to scan as many as 150 containers per hour without anybody’s intervention. The customs centre works in cooperation with the General department of Anti Narcotic of Dubai police.
