Traffic cops to help patients reach hospital in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 3 (IANS): The traffic police department of Gorakhpur, which is also the home district of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, will now help ambulances to cut through the traffic and get the patients coming from Bihar and Nepal to hospital without any delay.

The Chief Minister said that a mobile number 6390005277 has been operationalised for this. Anyone who sees an ambulance stuck in a traffic jam can call this number. The traffic police's QRT will respond quickly on receiving the call and help the ambulance get through the jam and reach the nearest hospital quickly.

Ambulances arriving in Gorakhpur sometimes have to face unnecessary delay because of traffic jams. Now such patients will get relief because of this new facility.
