PM asks Muraleedharan: 'Why without warm clothes?'

New Delhi, Feb 4 (IANS): Expressing concern about colleague's well being, Prime Minister Narendra Modi surprised Minister of State for External Affairs V. Muraleedharan by asking why he was wearing only a kurta in Delhi's cold weather, at BJP Parliamentary Party meeting at GMC Balayogi Auditorium of Parliament Library Building (PLB) in the national capital.

The meeting took place at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Soon after Modi arrived to attend the meeting, his eyes fell on Muraleedharan, who was wearing only a kurta (a traditional Indian wear), and was without a sweater and jacket.

So, the Prime Minister asked the minister, why he was not wearing warm clothes, to which the minister replied that the clothes he has put on are enough to keep him warm.

Other party leaders also joined in this discussion with the Prime Minister.
