Coronavirus: Hindu Mahasabha writes to WHO to ban meat sale

New Delhi, Feb 6 (IANS): The Hindu Mahasabha has demanded a ban on the sale of meat in view of the novel coronavirus and has written to the Director General of the World Health Organisation for that.

In a letter dated February 6, Swami Chakrapani, the head of the Hindu Mahasabha has written, "I urge to you to promulgate advisory for the Health Departments of all the governments of the world to ban the sale and consumption of animal meat altogether. Not only this, practice of killing animals for their meat is an unethical inhuman act, but it has brought mankind to brink of worldwide spread of deadly diseases."

In India, at least 5,120 people are under home surveillance and at least 741 tests have been done so far. Three Indians have tested positive.

China, the epicentre of the disease, says 565 people have died and at least 28,018 infected so far. A newborn has become the youngest to be diagnosed with the virus.

There is no treatment for the deadly virus, which scientists suspect originated in bats. It may have been transmitted to other animals and birds, scientists fear.

Swamiji, let's assume that some people, who live in similar environment like yours,
where there is lot of farmland and jungle, would borrow your advice and stop eating meat.
But what will happen to the people living in the desert area, where there is no vegitation? How will they survive?
Would the wild animals stop eating meat? Big fish in the sea, would it stop eating small fish for survival?
As you said, decease spread through Bats can spread then also? It can then spread through Cow milk also!
Let's be aware, creator made it that way, people living in different environments are following different food habits, culture.😁

In 2018 the All India Akhara Parishad called out National President of All India Hindu Mahasabha, Swami Chakrapani Maharaj , as ‘Fake’ Babas in the third list of such babas that was issued here. The Parishad said Babas did not come from any Sanyasi tradition.

As the coronavirus scare runs across the world with one confirmed case in India, Hindu Mahasabha has proposed bizarre treatment for the dreaded virus infection. Swami Chakrapani Maharaj, president of Hindu Mahasabha, on Friday said cow urine and cow dung can be used for treating novel coronavirus disease. He also said that a special yagna will be performed to "kill the novel coronavirus and end its effects on the world".

After this fake baba failed to woo the God to shoo the 'Coronovirus' now writing letter to ban meat sale. Perhaps this fake Swami don't now that India became largest 'Beef' exporter under the present Central government under PM Modiji.

If he is real Hindu let him write the letter to the PMO and Ministry Trade and Finance to stop all exports from India .

So does he mean one who eats plants (vegetarian) won't get disease???? By the way there are certain rules even in Religious scriptures stating which animal meat can be consumed and which are forbidden.... When humans eat forbidden meat then surely it carries deadly diseases... So eat healthy non forbidden meat rather than eating rats, cats, bats etc etc like how these Chinese eat.

Jossy, Beef still is the no 1 export product from India, more than Basmati rice, under the Modi Govt, If he really wants this Swami could write to the P.M.O office and see that the Indian beef export is banned, But then the countrys economy would nosedive to the bottom of the world economy
