PCR van hits Robert Vadra's gym trainer

New Delhi, Feb 8 (IANS): The fitness trainer of a gym where Congress interim chief Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra does his routine workout was hit by a PCR van on Friday evening, sources close to the businessman claimed.

According to the sources, the PCR van was being driven in the wrong direction of the road when it hit Vadra's trainer Vipul Barik. The incident took place on Lodhi Road.

Barik was riding his Scooty when the PCR van hit him outside the Aman Hotel. Sources said he was training along with Vadra at the hotel's gym before the incident.

Following the incident, Vadra admitted Barik to a hospital.

"He has been assisting me (with workouts) in the gym for almost seven years," Vadra told IANS.

Sources said Vadra also confronted the policemen who were moving in the PCR van and told them "you should take him to hospital since you hit him."
