In major embarrassment, a word expunged from PM's speech in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi, Feb 8 (IANS): In a major embarrassment for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the ruling BJP, a word has been expunged from his speech in the Rajya Sabha on Thursday when he launched a blistering attack on the opposition.

Replying to Motion of Thanks to the President's address, Modi attacked the opposition parties for protesting against National Population Register (NPR). In the middle of the speech, one of his words was found to be objectionable by the opposition which has been expunged now by the Chair.

This is not the first time that Modi's comments have been found to be objectionable. In 2018, PM's remarks on Congress leader B.K. Hariprasad had also been expunged.

Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, the Prime Minister had then made a remark that involved a wordplay on the Congress leader's name.

The Rajya Sabha Chairman directs the House secretariat to expunge unparliamentary or objectionable words used by the members during the course of discussion or debate.

Prime Minister is only a degree holder of “Entire Political Science" not an "PhD in English".
We all make mistakes, don’t we? It’s okay to make mistakes, however, there is a difference between making mistakes and making a mockery of yourself.

When a leader makes a mistake, it becomes a talking point for everyone. We often forget how to spell some difficult words, but, not like Indian Prime Minister, Modi does.

Here’s how he spelled it and what each alphabet stands for in his spelling of strength.

    S – Spirituality
T – Tradition, Trade, and Technology
    R – Relationship
    E – Entertainment
    A – Art
    N – Nature
    H – Health
With each alphabet of the word ‘STREANH’, we can create our entire plan, he said proudly.

A video is currently viral on social media of PM Modi’s recent visit to China. At a delegation level talk, PM Modi attempted the acronym of an eight-lettered word, ‘Strength’. It is now being claimed that he spelt “Strength” as….STREANH.

I had seen the English teachers gaffe in Bihar on social media but never expect the one from double degree holder.
Does it really matter word 'expunged' , when 'strength' can't be spelled right?

This make clear difference between world's highest qualified former PM Manmohan Singh and the current Prime Minister of India.

Modi spends most of the time in world tours. He comes to India for campaigning for his party, whenever there are elections. Election mood make him to use Aandu-Paandu language! Not his fault!!!

In this week's parliament session, Rahul Gandhi raised burning issue of our nation, unemployment. In response, Modi mocked RG and became Hero to his andh bhakths & he got applause from them. But, the discussion on the real issue went under carpet! Undiscussed !!!
Godi media and andh bhakths are happiest people on the earth to see, Modi making fun of Rahul Ghandhi!!!

I watched the proceedings and did not find anything embarassing for the PM. Of course RaGa looked very sheepish when he was stumped and it struck to him late and was called a ' Tubelight' . So perhaps his chelas could not digest this embarassing moment of their 50 year old Yuvaraj.

Sour Grapes Bro. It obvious know how a Ghulam feels when their leader is booted out from his own 50 year old bastion Amethi and has to flee to Wayanad to win on Muslim votes, 50 plus defeats and still going on..

So the majority who voted are foolish. As per you, To be a educated guy , one has to support an individual who is a butt of jokes with 50 plus defeats to his credit and routed in his home constituency . Come on! . Moreover its not 'venom ' boss. Its 'no appeasement' what some are missing, Moreover fyi, educated minorities are slowly tilting towards BJP , Valencia and Nagori is the best example,

    @ Krishna....

Yes off course.... Till Indian unpaad like u vote for unpaad PM candidate... Educated person can't be PM...
Let me tell u a story which suits u more...

There was a saint, who was living with his wife and 4 children's. One day due to some reasons he got angry on his wife and children's. So he cursed and said let u all become pigs... After that he went for preaching to other country.
After 1 year he returned to his Homeland, he saw his wife and children's who had become pig where in dirty gutter eating dirt etc. He felt pity and sorry and spoke to them and said I will make u humans back....
Upon hearing they said, they don't want to become humans back. They are happy what they are..... They are enjoying the dirt etc...

This is the condition of bhakts like u.....
