National Anthem to be sung in Maha colleges from Feb. 19

Pune (Maharashtra), Feb 12 (IANS): Maharashtra Higher Education Minister Uday Samant on Wednesday said that singing the National Anthem will now be compulsory in all colleges from February 19, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The state government will soon issue a notification asking all colleges to begin their day by singing the National Anthem, as per a unanimous decision of the ministry.
