Bangalore: Crisis Unresolved - Reddy Faction Claims Support of 70 MLAs
Daijiworld Media Network – Bangalore (SP)

Bangalore, Oct 30: In a dramatic development that took the BJP leadership by surprise on Friday, Oct 30, the Karnataka BJP's rebel faction, led by the Reddy Brothers, claimed that they have the support of 70 party MLAs. Hectic political activities were witnessed in the capital city, Bangalore, since the early morning. Chief Minister (CM) Yeddyurappa, central leader Arun Jaitley, state BJP chief, Sadanada Gowda, and MP Ananth Kumar met and had a final round of discussions on the current developments that have created a crisis for the state BJP.

Ananth Kumar, speaking to the reporters, said that he is optimistic about finding an amicable solution for the problem very soon. He said, during the meeting attended by all the top leaders of the party, RSS leaders, and various other party leaders, the issue of dissidence was discussed threadbare. He said he would be leaving for New Delhi this afternoon, to apprise the current situation to the high command.

Sadananda Gowda, state BJP chief, claims that 80% of the internal problems bothering the party have been solved, and that within a week, things will be back to normal. He explained that he had spoken to dissident leaders like Karunakar Reddy, Jagadish Shettar and others and got himself acquainted with reasons for their disgruntlement. "Looking at both the angles, respective demands of leaders from both the factions, and the actual problems on hand, we are confident that we are in the final phase of solving the problem once and for all," he claimed.

Ananth Kumar, speaking to the media in Bangalore said he too had lent an ear to the complaints put forth by the Reddy Brothers. While terming the problem as minor, he expressed the confidence that the same will be solved within the party, as every one in the BJP including the Reddy Brothers, do not want the issues to get undue publicity.

On the other hand, two teams of legislators, said to be owing allegiance to the Reddy Brothers, have already landed in resorts in Hyderabad and Goa. Goa's posh ‘Lalith International’ and ‘Novatel Hotel’ in Hyderabad have become the hotspots for deciding the political future of Karnataka.

Sources close to the Reddy Brothers have claimed that the Reddy’s are ahead in the number game, with 70 legislators supporting them, and that these legislators are being shifted to the resorts to ensure that the pro-Yeddy camp is not able to communicate with them and try to lure them back into its fold.

Senior political analysts in Bangalore say that Friday is very important for Karnataka, as speedy political twists and turns can occur  on this day, and by evening, the political scenario might head to a specific direction.

At around 10.30 am on Friday, Sriramulu and Jagadish Shettar, along with some of the MLAs supporting them, met at Shettar's house for a secret meeting.

Reddy Brothers and Raamulu have invested a lot for the formation of BJP Govt. in Karnataka. BJP won the election in Karnataka as well as came to power through these Reddy brothers money (OPERATION KAMALA) and now they want their money back.

Now they understood that it is not easy to get back what they had invested because C.M. Yediyurappa is going tough and he is sidelined these people. So, now they want to change the CM as well as some other ministers who will listen to these people. So that they can loot easily as and when they want.

Mr George Cruz/Nagesh Nayak/Mahenrdra shetty/Arun/Rajesh Rao/Dr Madhyasta, why all of you are silent now. Dont you all think that BJP, a party with difference (devision and hate) is victim of its own ideologies? Is this party not sinking? When the karnataka state is reeling under famine, floods, harvest problem, mass suicide of farmers, is this the way peoples problems are solved. Why our CM has to shed croc tears a week back just to garner sympathy and to save his chair??? NOw Congress and JDS are looking for an opprtunity to fish in the troubled water? Why the ruling party is giving a chance to its oppenents? From the facts, and results of recent assembly elections else where, results of lokasabha elections, its very clear that BJP has been reduced to minority in the national level and it too shall be voted out in Karnatka.. BJP doesnt have a mass and strong support base it used to have/enjoy... Any party which comes to power must rule for their full term. Interim elections are debt to the tax payers. So BJP must solve their internal difference and emerge as a strong ruling party and should not give an undue opportunity to congress and JDS. But I doubt its going to happen...

Cheers Reddy garlu, with the support of 70 ministers you will emerge as the next CM, HM, Revenue Minister and Mines & environment Minister respectively. You can very well take support of JDS and independents and still not happy, start Operation Reddys. You will come out as winners. Don’t you ever, never go near to Congress men, because they are just waiting to topple you. You know tit for tat for your operation Kamala. And then the rest of the term you can really make money, money and money and when you die you can take that alongwith you to wherever you go. Forget the people of Karnataka. Why do you bother for them. Jai Ho. . .

"Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children" Mathew 27:25. In AD 70, Titus, the Roman ruler seized the beautiful city of Jerusalem. After three years of oppression, the city was totally destroyed, and the Jewish people were uprooted and were dispersed all over the world. They got their own nation, only in 1948, which is called Israel. The "blood curse" made them to suffer and wander in the wilderness of persecution for 1875 years. What the BJP is faced with, is it another divine wrath? In the Ayodhya-Godhra-Kandhamal burning and carnage, none of the leaders or perpetrators shed a of blood. But see the thousands of innocent people lost their lives how many orphans and widows, and the list will prick our conscience. People of Hindu-Muslim-Christian faiths have died for political gains: they were sacrificed as political scapegoats. What is happening in BJP is something beyond human comprehension! Let the readers ponder the matter and make their own conclusion.

It is very clear from the beginning these Reddy trio's are blackmailing the ruling party and exploiting BJP for having to depend on Reddy's supporters for staying in power. BJP top leaders must take very strong action against Reddy's by sacking them so that such exploitation will not repeated in the party.
