New Delhi, Feb 20 (IANS): An accused in an attempt to murder case was shot dead by some unidentified men on Wednesday night in Rohini district, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Pawan alias Anchil, the police said.
The police officials said that Pawan was an accused in an attempt to murder case and was recently released from jail.
The victim was travelling in his Scorpio car in Ladpur Kanjhawala area of Rohini when some unidentified persons who were in a hyundai i20 car fired around 45 rounds of bullets at him, a senior police officer who was on spot said.
Pawan was a resident of Rohini's Karala village.
