Special sale of fish in J&K on Mahashivratri


Srinagar, Feb 20 (IANS): The Jammu & Kashmir government conducted a special sale of fish on the occasion of Mahashivratri festival in Srinagar.

Fresh fish from several fish farms were transported early morning through refrigerated vans to the places identified for the sale of fish in Srinagar.

Senior Sales Manager (Marketting) Department of Fisheries Sajad Hussain said that more than 2.5 quintals of fish were sold in two days at different sale counters.
