Spicejet flight makes emergency landing in Kolkata

Kolkata, Feb 26 (IANS): A Guwahati-bound Spiecejet flight from Mumbai with 183 passengers on board made an emergency landing here after the pilot suspected a fuel tank leakage, a source said.

All passengers and crew were safe after the flight SG6480 made the emergency landing at the NSCBI Airport here around 8-58 am, an airport official said.

The pilot informed the Air Traffic Control in Kolkata round 8.45 a.m. asking for emergency landing facilities, saying he suspected a fuel leakage, the official said.
