Delhi Metro's Blue Line services hit as man sits on track


New Delhi, Feb 28 (IANS): The operation of trains in Delhi Metro's Blue Line section towards Noida and Vaishali was affected on Friday after a passenger was found seated on the railway track at Mandi House.

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) said a huge queue of commuters was seen in the stations as trains were delayed.

"Delay in services between Dwarka Sector 21 and Noida Electronic City/Vaishali," the DMRC tweeted on Friday evening.

"Delay in services between Mandi House and Dwarka Sector 21 due to a passenger on track at Mandi House," the DMRC said in the tweet.

The information panels on most of the Blue line stations showed a delay of over 20 minutes.

The information display panel at Karkarduma metro station showed a delay of over 25 minutes.
