Give up hatred not social media: Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi, March 2 (IANS): Soon after Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday surprised everyone by tweeting that he is thinking of giving up social media accounts, former Congress President Rahul Gandhi suggested that Modi should "give up hatred, not social media".

"Give up hatred, not social media accounts," Rahul Gandhi tweeted with a screenshot of Prime Minister's tweet.

Minutes before Rahul Gandhi's tweet, Modi had surprised everyone by tweeting that he is thinking of giving up social media accounts.

"This Sunday, thinking of giving up my social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & YouTube. Will keep you all posted," Modi tweeted.

Following Modi's tweet, social media went abuzz speculating why the Prime Minister was thinking of leaving all social media platforms. Some felt that the Prime Minister was thinking of quitting social media because its misuse to spread rumours.

The national capital recently witnessed heavy use of social media to propagate rumours which resulted in amplifying the riots in northeast Delhi.

He would rather prefer one way communication(Man ki Baat), where he will not have any hurdles to respond.

    RAGA is right!
Modi has capability and he is dynamic, but he is putting all his efforts towards fulfillment of RSS agenda. He will be a very successful PM, if he works for the development of country and its people, keeping aside the RSS agenda. To some extent he is also helpless, he cannot go against his masters and their principle.

RSS is not against India or Indians, our PM is the product of RSS. Modiji is already proved with his development works that's why people have re elected him. If he performs well he will be our PM for another 2 terms.

Rahul , sorry to say, its high time you step down and pass on the leadership mantle to someone competent . Your disappearance and reappearance is taking a heavy toll on the party , I really pity the Congress followers, supporters and chelas. Here is a leader of the Grand old party who has only lost elections consistently, lost his own family bastion as well and is surviving in politics due to a favour done by some constituency in Kerala. Mind you the victory was not on merit, Immediately after the Delhi 'wash out' he disappears and reappears after a fortnight bashing the PM just to be in news. The whole Congress crowd has forgotten the past and cheering him. Guys ! such type of leader leading the Congress , it will be BJP again in 2024. Lets be fair guys.

RaGa, when your party was in power, you looted the country. when not in power you and your family are busy spreading rumours and criticising the lawfully elected government. Being out of power does'nt mean you should not work for people. Only thing you have done is go abroad, enjoy, come back and instigate and provoke gullible people to create unrest in the country.

What is more alarming when his ministers utter more hate openly he is silent.
India has become a state of hate.

There is no end to hate so far and it does not look like the end is in the horizon as long as they are in power.

India is being divided by this hate.

Give up hatred is 100% correct. After all, one day, we have to leave this world. No one will ask where the person will be? Indian or Pakistani, American or Russian, Hindu, Muslim, Sikh, Jain, Buddhist, or Christian all have to go away. If we give up our hatred, we all develop 75% in our living.

Oh he is back!!! This is is game plan every time after an election defeat. Go abroad for a month or so, come back after public forgets, bash out at Modi on a different issue, and the Congi Ghulams have forgotten the last rout, touting him to be the next PM. RaGa, Look at the world not from your position , but look at the world form your position .
