Presidency School Mangaluru is an English medium, co-educational school with facilities for residential and day scholars. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. The school has classes from pre-primary to Grade 12. The subject combination in the senior secondary at Presidency is unique. They offer subject combination of Physical Education along with Physics, Chemistry, Math, Biology and Computer Science.
The Presidency Pre-University College has state board PU with Science as well as Commerce subject combinations.
The campus has three main blocks - academic block, an admin block and the hostel block. The academic block houses spacious and well ventilated and scientifically designed classrooms. The learning atmosphere is livened with brightly painted furniture and colourful display boards. It provides the right ambience for an effective learning experience at school. The outdoor games facilities are a speciality at Presidency School. They have a playground for outdoor games including cricket, football, volleyball, throwball, basketball, skating rink, badminton court, running track and swimming pool. The sporting arena at Presidency has seen a new dimension altogether whether it is in cricket, football, basketball, swimming, athletics, skating, yoga or any other sport. Every year, inter school swimming and inter school skating are activities conducted in the campus for schools around Mangaluru. Students have participated in competitions including the CBSE cluster meet and secured huge accolades. Presidency School has also received national award from Education World for ‘Reading Culture’ in kindergarten section this academic year.
