Mangaluru: Ryan International School holds Montessori graduation ceremony

Mangaluru, Mar 11: Ryan International School Mangaluru, celebrated its glittering Montessori Graduation Ceremony 2019-2020 on March 7 on the theme 'Together We Can'.

To bless the students and encourage them to be great learners, Capt Ganesh Karnik MLC, Fr Wilson Moras SJ, Walter Nandalike, editor-in-chief and MD of Daijiworld, Bhaskar Chicknanjundappa director of I-point consulting services, Surendra Nayak chief financial officer, ONGC Mangaluru Petrochemicals Ltd graced the occasion with their presence. Sonal Pinto, director, Ryan Group of Institutions, was also present. 

The programme began with a prayer song to invoke the blessings of Lord Almighty. The children of Class 4 and 6 welcomed the guests in three different languages. The most important part of the day was the graduation ceremony of young graduates dressed in graduation robes and capes. The award ceremony where the children not only of the Montessori section but also from the primary section were present was a matter of pride for the children and the parents and teachers.

Proud parents stroked palms together repeatedly as the young achievers in different fields came on stage to receive laurels. Children exuded happiness and confidence as they received their degrees from the guests of honour. The talent of students came to the fore through colourful displays and numerous track events that marked the day. The students also showcased their talents by playing guitar and keyboard. In his presidential speech, the chief guest commended the school management and teachers for their efforts in shaping the young toddlers for a better future. He especially admired the confidence of the tiny tots on stage for showing their talent and buoyancy.

The celebration culminated by giving thanks to the Lord Almighty, and the audience dispersed after singing the national anthem.
