Kasargod: Newly married couple commits suicide

Kasargod, Mar 13: A couple, who got married just three months ago, reportedly killed themselves by hanging at their quarters at Paravanadka near here.

The deceased couple is identified as Jishanth (33), a resident of Pakyar in Uduma district and his wife Jaya (24), a resident of Kumdaje in Chekudlu. Their bodies were found in hanging in the quarters where they were residing, on the morning of Friday, March 13. 

The couple was residing in the quarters where their bodies were found since three months. They were not to be seen outside since two days. When the neighbours peeped into the quarters, they found both of them hanging. The door of the kitchen was open.

Melparamba police arrived on the spot and conducted spot inspection. Bodies were shifted to Kasargod general hospital for post mortem.

    It is very suspect.Why back door was open when couple decided to suecide?The lady seems to be too young for her given age .Only autopsy will bring the truth .were they hanged or?Sad young life is gone before it began to bloom.May their souls rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathy to the familys.

    Very sad to see such a young and sweet couple took their own life’s. Really it is beyond my understanding why one is doing that? What really comes to their mind? Feeling really very sorry for them. May God forgive them and grant them eternal rest. Amen 🙏

    Due to improper and excessive use of digital communication media by youngsters and not respecting or considering or consulting or listening to parents and well wishers while they prepare for married life leads to such Extreme step. This is bitter truth of present society. Almight save them
