Kochi, March 13 (IANS): The AIMRI (Aries Industrial & Maritime Research Institute) on Friday received the accreditation from the UAE international accreditation centre as an auditing body for ISO certification.
AIMRI is a premier i-university imparting various courses in the field of maritime education and has campuses at Sharjah (UAE) and here at Kochi.
AIMRI received the accreditation from Emirates International Accreditation Centre (EIAC) as a Certification Body for Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015) audits and certification.
The university was launched by Aries Group, a multinational consortium in the Middle East led by Sohan Roy, who heads the world's largest naval architecture consultancy and survey firm with offices in all maritime hubs.
