Bengaluru: Complaint against Yediyurappa's functioning, interference by Vijayendra on cards

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Mar 16: There is growing discontentment within the BJP about the functioning style of chief minister B S Yediyurappa, and interference in administrative matters by his son B Y Vijayendra. The issue has become so grave that there are indications that several among the BJP leaders may approach the national leadership with a complaint about the above issues. The legislators who have been eying to become either ministers or heads important corporations or boards are also likely to resort to hectic lobbying as their patience is running out.

Already anonymous letters written to the high command about the erratic functioning style of Yediyurappa and Vijayendra's overbearing attitude have given rise to upheavals in the state unit of the BJP. Senior legislators and former ministers are openly talking about these undesirable things. In a nutshell, it appears that these people are preparing to officially lodge complaint with the party's national leaders.

It is gathered that a few BJP MLAs tried to meet BJP national president, J P Nadda, during his visit here on Saturday and discuss the issues with him and provide him information about what is going on but they could not get his appointment. Nadda reportedly has conveyed to them the message to come to Delhi and discuss issues of concern with him. Therefore, some leaders will go to Delhi after Tuesday in an effort to meet top leaders and apprise them of the goings on. As per information, a delegation may go to Delhi for this purpose.

After the budget session of the assembly, the ministry will be expanded and the vacant portfolios will be filled. Therefore, those who are hell bent on becoming ministers have started to exert pressure. Those who want to become chairpersons of boards and corporations too are lobbying hard.

Yediyurappa's former personal assistant S R Santosh, has said that he has nothing to do with the anonymous letter blaming Yediyurappa for faulty administrative style and Viayendra's interference in government affairs as alleged by some quarters. He said he is currently keeping distance from Yediyurappa who he considers to be his mentor, and that he cannot think of complaining against him. In a media statement, he said that he has remained aloof from all matters of late, but expressed anguish at his name being unnecessarily dragged and false accusations being levelled against him.

State BJP should do something and create an alternative to Yeddy. His previous stint was also plagued by his autocratic style with anger management issues. He will once again ruin it for BJP which has come to power with slender margin. Before we know, KJP might once again come into being to handsomely blackmail BJP.

Our Operations Specialist Dr Yeddy should keep his sons from interfering in his work. OK one guy is MP for Shivamogga, let him do MP work. The other one? He's the one who walks like shadow with Dr Yeddy, better avoid, else complaint will go to Modi and Dr Yeddy will be puska then
