Himachal HC restricts hearing of cases

Shimla, Mar 17 (IANS): The Himachal Pradesh High Court on Tuesday announced restriction on its functioning by suspending all its regular work till March 31 in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The court has decided only new cases of "extreme urgency" will be listed for hearing.

Such cases include bail petitions, both fresh and pending, criminal appeals and revision petitions, a High Court statement said.
