Rahul says India will pay heavy price for govt's inability

New Delhi, March 18 (IANS): Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday said quick and aggressive action was required to tackle coronavirus, warning India will pay "extremely heavy price" for the Centre's inability to act decisively.

"Quick aggressive action is the answer to tackling the coronavirus. India is going to pay an extremely heavy price for our government's inability to act decisively," Rahul Gandhi said in a tweet.

Even on February 12, he had made a similar statement when he said "coronavirus was an extremely serious threat to the people and the economy."

"My sense is the government is not taking this threat seriously. Timely action is critical."

On March 13, he added that he will keep repeating the statement adding that the government is in "a stupor".

"Coronavirus is a huge problem. Ignoring the problem is a non-solution. The Indian economy will be destroyed if strong action is not taken."

However, the Central government has refuted his claims.

Sounds like one of the numerous jokes of this stand up comedian. On the other hand WHO is praising India's effort in tackling the Corona virus while he has no knowledge of what is happening in the country and around the world, so amazing.

Whatever Rahul Gandhi is saying is right. By God's grace it is under control in India as of now. But no one guarantee what will be the situation forward as India has highly densed population and it is very easy to spread in no time. Govt must take aggressive steps to control and should not think it is a week opposition they can play with

BJP is least bothered about Gau Matha and all Hindus who oppose BJP nevertheless they too are Hindus. Country is not in BJP's count. Only they are bothered aboutis holding on to power and hoard as much money as possible in shortest period by whatever means. But they don't realize what kind of country they will be ruling.
