‘Yagna’ for corona cure at Gorakhnath temple


Gorakhpur (UP), Mar 19: The famous Gorakhnath temple in Gorakhpur, on Wednesday, organized a ‘yagna to combat COVID-19.

UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath is the head of the Gorakhnath temple.

The yagna was carried out by Baba Kamal Nath, the acting chief priest of Gorakhnath temple, who said that the ritual was to purify the environment.

Acharya Ramanand Tripathi, who joined the yagna, said that chanting of mantras also helps in purifying the environment and wards off viruses like Corona.

About 51 students of Vedic rituals also participated in the ‘yagna', held at the temple's ‘yagyashala'.
