2 relatives of corona positive case in Kashmir test negative


Srinagar, March 20 (IANS): Two of the family members of the first positive corona case in Kashmir have tested negative.

Speaking to IANS, Farooq Jan, Medical Superintendent SKIMS said that two samples of family members were collected, both of them have tested negative.

"The patient continues to be under observation," he said.

On Wednesday first positive case of COVID-19 in Kashmir valley was reported.

The woman in her sixties who is also the mother in law of a senior police officer had returned from Saudi Arabia on March 16 after performing Umrah.

So far three positive cases have been reported from Jammu, 10 in Ladakh and one in the Kashmir Valley.
