Puttur, Mar 22: A doctor of a private hospital in the city is alleged to have posted a instigating message saying "Meet Modi haters Corona". A complaint against the doctor has been filed in town police station.

The complaint has been filed against Dr Suresh Putturaya by P B K Ibrahim, a resident of Purusharakatte of Narimogaru village in the taluk.

In the complaint, Ibrahim has asked the police to take action against the doctor saying that he has written provocative message on social media and has insulted the noble profession of medicine.

'Dear Corona, you have somehow arrived. Meet Modi haters. Otherwise they will ask proof' is the message allegedly written by Dr Suresh Putturaya according to the complaint filed by Ibrahim. The complainant says that he got Putturaya's message as a forward on his mobile.

"Dr Putturaya is an influential person socially and politically in the taluk. There is a possibility that there might be clashes if some people get offended by his post. He has posted this communally sensitive message intentionally. Hence strict action should be taken against Dr Putturaya," said Ibrahim in his complaint.
