Gandhinagar, Mar 23 (IANS): The locally transmitted infection of coronavirus has increased with total positive cases in Gujarat going up to 29 on Monday. There were 11 new positive cases out of which five are locally transmitted.
The number of corona victims is also growing as far as senior citizens are concerned, making it more worrying for the health authorities.
According to the State Control Room, 11 positive corona cases were detected in Gujarat on Monday, out of which 5 have been infected through local transmission. Persons detected are Surat (male, 45), Vadodara (female, 27), Ahmedabad (male, 33) and Gandhinagar (male 49).
One death due to corona infection was reported on Sunday from Surat.
