Haryana offers incentives for sharing tales on corona


Chandigarh, Mar 25 (IANS): Getting the hidden talent out in the unprecedented times of the coronavirus crisis that has the world firmly in its grip, the Haryana government has started a cash reward for sharing inspirational tales.

Named COVID Sangharsh Senani, a teenager, youth or a senior citizen could share his or her fight against the virus through an inspirational poem, song, storey, saga, message or a speech.

A government spokesperson told IANS on Wednesday that the participant would upload the audio video on the portal haryana.mygov.in

Everyday 100 best entries from the state would be given a cash reward from Rs 100 to Rs 1,000.

He said in order to ensure the continuation of studies of over 1.87 lakh students in 112 government schools who do not suffer during the lockdown period in view of COVID-19, all the teachers have started uploading lectures on the website of the higher education department.
