537 COVID-19 patients discharged in Chinese mainland


Beijing, Mar 27 (IANS): A total of 537 patients of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were discharged from hospital on Thursday on the Chinese mainland, the National Health Commission said on Friday.

Altogether, 74,588 patients had been discharged from hospital after recovery by the end of Thursday, the commission said in its daily report, Xinhua reported.

As of Thursday, a total of 81,340 confirmed cases of the COVID-19 had been reported on the mainland, and 3,292 people had died of the disease.
