Azad urges Shah to help stranded J&K students, labourers


New Delhi, Mar 28 (IANS): Amid countrywide lockdown due to the Covid-19 outbreak, senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad, here on Saturday, raised with Union Home Minister Amit Shah the issue of students and labourers from Jammu and Kashmir stranded across the country.

According to Azad's office, he also demanded special helpline numbers to help the stranded people. He also urged the Home Minister to provide accommodation and ration to them.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Saturday confirmed 873 coronavirus cases and 19 deaths. However, 78 people have recovered or been discharged from hospitals.
