AQI 'satisfactory' in Delhi; clear sky

New Delhi, Mar 30 (IANS): The nation capital on Monday witnessed a clear sky with the AQI recorded in the 'satisfactory' category at 58.

According to the Centre-run System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting (SAFAR), while the AQI on Monday was satisfactory, it will improve to 'good' on Tuesday.

"Rainfall under the influence of western disturbances has contributed to AQI betterment along with the reduced emissions," SAFAR said.

The weather office has said the sky will remain clear throughout the day along with strong surface winds.

According to the IMD, the minimum temperature for the day is expected to hover around 17 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature will be around 31 degrees Celsius.
