Covid-19: J&K notifies helpline nos for stranded migrants

Jammu, Mar 30 (IANS): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday notified the helpline numbers for migrant labourers from the Union Territory who are stranded in various parts of the country due to the 21-day nationwide lockdown.

The migrants were asked to contact for help the following: Zameer Ahmad, Assistant Labour Commissioner, 9797172356 (for Kashmir Division) and Sanjay Kumar, Labour Officer, 9419424281 (for Jammu Division).

These officials have been asked to liaise authorities concerned to assist/help stranded migrant labourers.
