Mangaluru: Man arrested for posting malicious content about govt functionaries

Mangaluru, Mar 31: Police arrested one person for spreading malicious content against government functionaries engaged in coronavirus work.

The arrested has been identified as Nizam alias Neeza.

The accused was arrested and sent to judicial custody on court orders. He was spreading malicious content on social media through a platform 'idu namma dhwani'.

He is also accused of spreading rumours about government functionaries engaged in work against spreading of coronavirus.
