Kolkata, Mar 31: It has become common practice for men going out for fun and frolic to lie to their wives about their proposed 'business trip'. In a surprising development, two men who lied to their wives about their travel destination, got caught because of coronavirus.

Two Ambala-based persons had recently left their homes, duly telling their wives that they would be off to Bengaluru on account of office work. Instead they went to Bangkok, got entertained and returned home in course of time.

The officials have been keeping a close watch on the people returning to India after visiting foreign destinations. They got to know about the Bangkok tour of these two men. They pasted 14-day mandatory quarantine notice outside their homes.

The wives who saw the notices were shocked to know that their husbands had been to Bangkok by lying to them. They questioned their husbands and the men confessed to their lies. It is said that the two men, whose facades fell off because of the quarantine notices, shouted at the officials who did it later.
